A Happy Surprise for the Holidays
For the holidays I received this book, and I had two simultaneous thoughts:
1. This gift giver really knows me!
2. I love everything about this!
And all of this was before I even opened it up. Once I did, I wasn’t disappointed. It tells the tale of 100 heroic women, illustrated by 60 female artists from “every corner of the globe”.
I really loved how each bio starts with “Once upon a time…” Perhaps that has something to do with the “goodnight” story aspect, but for me, I got a sense of comfort, connection, and the sense of possibility.
