Great Adjectives, Onomatopoeia, and One of my Favorite Animals

Ok I may be biased, since I love moose and have always wanted to see one (well, from far away), but I just loved this book. It made me smile and laugh. It took me a few pages to discover there was a moose in the background on various pages, which made the book even more enjoyable. As a teacher, I loved the great illustrations, the large font, and the great word choice!

This book makes for a great read aloud, because it can be read, re-read, and re-read due to fun. Also the illustrations and aligning word choice make it a great intro to habitats and their animals (not to mention a great compliment to a writing prompt with a focus on word choice).
