I recently came across this blog post featuring five picture books and their connecting STEM activities (click HERE)

I love it! I love the integration and the simplicity of the STEM advice, “Read them a book!” How true is that, and there are so many great books out there that are eager and ready to spark STEM learning in your elementary classroom. 
It reminded me about the week long unit I just finished with my first grade students connecting STEM and The Three Little Pigs, which was such a success, that it was more than STEM, it was STEM + Literacy! ❤️
